About Us and Common Questions
My name is Daphne, I have an associate degree in Business and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration. I am also a certified groomer, and at one time, I had my own grooming shop. I absolutely love animals and especially Miniature Schnauzers and Maine Coon cats.
I fell in love with Miniature Schnauzers a few decades ago and we've had them in our family for a very long time. I have loved being able to provide my puppy families with happy, healthy and well-adjusted Miniature Schnauzers. I have also met a lot of wonderful people through my Schnauzers. I hope you enjoy my website and thank you for visiting. The videos below are current of my home and Schnauzers, September 28th, 2019. Also, a video link of a family coming to pickup their puppy in December, 2018--Click this link to watch the video.

COMMON QUESTIONS:
Do you have 'toy or tea cup size' Miniature Schnauzers: N0, my dogs are miniature in size only...as is intended for a MINIATURE breed. Miniature means a small breed (12 to 25 pounds).
What colors do you have: Black, Salt/Pepper, and Black/Silver ONLY.
How much are your puppies: $2200 (deposit is $600, remaining balance is $1600).
Are your adults and puppies AKC: Yes, and pups are sent home with AKC paperwork.
Do you offer breeding rights aka FULL registration: NO, pet homes only.
Do you DNA health test: Yes, through Embark Dog DNA which is also affiliated with the OFA and a research partner of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Do your adults and puppies live in your home: Yes, they are my pets first and well socialized and loved. I only have one male and two females in my breeding program.
Do your adults and puppies have a regular veterinarian for check-ups and vaccines: Yes, my veterinarian reference is on my home page.
Do you have a health contract: Yes, I have a three-year health contract.
Do you sell puppies for showing in conformation and breeding: No, pet homes only.
How do I get on your deposit or waiting list: Fill out a Puppy Application and I will get back with you within a few days.
Do you have any puppies available right now: No, I have a small program and I do not have puppies all of the time. Since my program is small, 99% of my puppies are placed via my deposit list (occasionally by waiting list). Depending on what color/gender you prefer, be prepared to wait 4-12 months for a puppy after you fill out an application and/or place a deposit.
Do you allow visitors prior to pick-up: No, my private home is not open to the public. In the day and age of technology, you can easily verify my reputation through contacting my vet clinic, asking for references of families who have been to my home and have multiple pets from me—including retired adults, and reviewing my videos and how I have opened my private home up on the Internet to be transparent without allowing constant foot-traffic in my home from strangers. This protects my baby animals that have developing immune systems and allows me a degree of privacy too. ALL families do get to meet the parents at pick-up and visit my home at that time, they are always impressed and very happy with what they see. I have built an excellent reputation over the last decade as a reputable breeder and that allows me to be more private again with my home and time. In addition, I also raise Maine Coons, felines are susceptible to some of the same respiratory illnesses that people get and therefore it is not beneficial to have added unnecessary foot traffic in and out of our home. Additionally, although visiting puppies/kitties is fun, there is no health benefit or bonding that occurs from that visit. I provide bi-weekly videos and updates of the puppies/kitties and occasionally pictures as well. We also have countless families who have purchased puppies/kitties/adult pets from us over the years who would be happy to provide a reference and they have been to my home. Thank you for helping us keep our pets and home healthy and happy.
