I no longer raise Schnauzers. LINKS below to two breeders who do, and they have puppies right now.
I closed my program at the end of 2020. It's been a wonderful decade of raising healthy pups and I wish you great success in your search for a puppy. I also want to thank all my families and supporters for the last decade. Raising puppies is very hard, time consuming, and expensive too. Appreciate all the great breeders out there because they are working hard, spending a lot of money to maintain a reputable program, and are often very stressed. They also are keeping purpose bred dogs in our lives and that should be appreciated. Daphne Riggs

What to expect after your puppy is born.
Pictures/videos below of the Puppy Nursery in my home.
After the puppies are born, I send out a birth announcement with a short video via email to the families with deposits on that litter. The puppies have their tails and dew claws done the first week. Every two weeks, you will receive a video update in an email of your puppy. You also receive a nice Puppy Care Package and breeder support (within reason) when your puppy goes home too. Once you take the puppy home, the puppy is YOUR responsibility to continue training and socializing into and through adulthood.

Our puppies are born in my bedroom and stay there the first three weeks. I am better able to keep an eye on the pups and Mom through the night too. We have one Puppy Nursery xpen area setup downstairs for pups ages three weeks and older. I only need one area because we only have two to three litters a year and not at the same time. The xpen is setup in the room next to our kitchen downstairs. FYI: the puppy playpen flooring is designed to be comfortable to walk on. The wire is double-coated with soft vinyl and feels comfortable to the touch. The wire gauge is thick as well which is also designed to be gentle on their paws. They still have rubber pads to step out of the crate and a crate to sleep/nap in, which they love, and they are already introduced to crate training! The elevated flooring keeps them from accidentally stepping or wrestling in poop or pee too, which is much more sanitary--I can't be in there with them every second of the day. They like being higher up too, it provides them a better view to see what's going on. The pups only spend five weeks in the puppy nursery xpen and then they go home (to date my pups have always had a forever family before they turn eight weeks old). My pups also get time every day to play outside starting around five weeks old. My Moms are only on this flooring for a few weeks (when the pups are ages three to six weeks old). See picture and videos below.
